Shrimp cooks in an air fryer at 180°C (355°F) for 6~8 min. Preheat first, and flip once halfway. Curled into a C and no longer translucent
Shrimp cook fast enough that a minute decides the texture. A C shape means done; a tight O means overdone. Cooking them shell-on keeps far more moisture in.
For medium shrimp. Large prawns need ten minutes; tiny cocktail shrimp are done in four or five.

What usually goes wrong
- Past ten minutes — rubbery
- Fully peeled before cooking — they shrink and dry
- Crowding — uneven doneness
