Wardrobe Declutter Checklist — A Plan for Your Goal and Session

1. Prepare keep, repair, donate and undecided containers
2. Empty and finish just one shelf, drawer or hanging section
3. Empty cash, receipts, personal information and belongings from pockets
4. Group duplicate-purpose items and keep the ones worn most
5. Keep only pieces that fit now and are actually worn
6. Label repair items with the needed fix and a deadline
7. Bag clean, wearable clothing for donation
8. Check local textile recycling options for unwearable items
9. Return kept clothing by type and frequency of use
10. Write a destination and action date on every outgoing bag

Check pockets for personal information, and confirm donation or textile-recycling acceptance rules before drop-off.
