New Balance US 9.5 corresponds to a 275 mm foot length, which is Korean size 275, EU 43 and UK 9.
True to size, and one of the few brands offering width options (D, 2E, 4E) — a real advantage for wide feet. Classic 990-series models run slightly large.
Width options are the reason many people stay with New Balance: the same 270 mm comes in D (standard), 2E (wide) and 4E (extra wide), so wide-footed buyers do not have to size up in length to get room. Unmarked pairs are usually D.

How it fits
How to measure your foot
Stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper and mark the tip of your longest toe. Wall to mark is your foot length in millimetres. Measure in the evening — feet swell slightly through the day, and that is the size you actually wear.
Most people have two slightly different feet, so measure both and use the longer one. Trainers are normally chosen 5-10 mm longer than the foot itself.
